The LA Kings picked up Marian Gaborik from the Columbus Blue Jackets at the trade deadline; a deal reminiscent of when they got Jeff Carter in 2012 on their road to the Cup. Gaborik has provided the Kings with a necessary spark in the 2014 playoffs.
