RESULTS: Bruins in the Olympics Day Three

Day three of the Men’s Hockey tournament is complete. Here are the highlights for today’s action. David Krejci and the Czech Republic had the early game, defeating Latvia by a score of 4-2. The Czechs are now 1-1 and Krejci got his first point of the tournament with an assist.

Team Sweden and Loui Eriksson took on Switzerland and defeated them in a grind of a game by a score of 1-0. The only goal was scored with just seven minutes left in the game. Eriksson has yet to score or add an assist. The Swedes are 2-0 in the tournament.

The late games featured Patrice Bergeron and Team Canada putting up a dominating performance against Austria. Winning 6-0, the Canadians are now 2-0 in the tournament. Bergeron was held pointless in today’s match-up.

The last game on today’s schedule was Team Finland defeating the Norwegians 6-1. Unfortunately Tuukka Rask did not dress in today’s game with Kari Lehtonen starting and Antti Niemi getting backup duties. It is unclear how much playing time Rask will be getting moving forward, but Finland looks strong so far at 2-0.
