RESULTS: Bruins in the Olympics Day Five

Patrice Bergeron and Tuukka Rask squared off to wrap up their Group B games. Canada defeated Finland 2-1 in overtime on a Drew Doughty goal. Bergeron was held without a point and managed only one shot on goal. Tuukaa made 25 saves on 27 shots for a 0.926 save percentage. This was a much better performance than the first game he started and he had plenty of defensive help.

Zdeno Chara and Team Slovakia also played their final Group Round game, losing 0-1 to Russia in a shootout. Chara played the most minutes out of all players in the game, clocking in at 27:39. Slovakia struggled in the Group Round, not winning any games and receiving their only point by taking Russia into overtime

The Qualification Round will begin on Tuesday 2/18 and there will be a Bruin vs Bruin match-up. Czech Republic will take on Slovakia, bringing David Krejci and Zdeno Chara across the ice from each other. There is a rivalry between the two countries that will make this match-up exciting. Sweden, Canada, and Finland all have a bye into the Quarterfinals giving Loui Eriksson, Patrice Bergeron, and Tuukka Rask two days off.
